Dani returns to the San Jacinto College coaching staff in Fall 2025 following a standout season at UT Tyler, where she helped the Patriots capture the NCAA Division II National Championship with a 62-5 record.

A native of League City, Texas, Elder enjoyed a five-year collegiate playing career split between Texas A&M and Texas State, appearing in 124 games and twice earning SEC Honor Roll recognition during her time with the Aggies.

Elder’s transition into coaching began in 2023 as a graduate assistant at Texas State – where she also served as the Director of Operations for the Bobcats. She then spent a season as an assistant at San Jacinto College, helping guide the Ravens to their seventh NJCAA World Series appearance and a 42-22 overall record with a share of the Region XIV South Conference Championship.

Elder also brings travel-ball experience, having worked as an assistant with the 18U Impact Gold program. Academically, she holds a Master’s Degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Texas State (2023) and a Bachelor of Science with a minor in Coaching and Recreation, Park & Tourism Sciences from Texas A&M (2021).
