The wait is over—conference play is finally here! On Wednesday, March 5, 2025, we will kick off conference action on the road against Angelina College. While our record so far may not reflect the progress we've made, we view conference play as a fresh start and an opportunity to showcase our improvements.

One of the biggest areas of growth this season has been our defense. Peyton Watson (Katy HS/Katy) has been a standout at second base, consistently making key plays and providing stability in the infield. Her contributions have been instrumental in strengthening our defensive efforts.

Offensively, our team has been making solid contact and putting up impressive numbers at the plate. As a team, we are currently batting .353, with several players leading the charge. Angelina Morales (Deer Park HS/ Pasadena) has been an offensive powerhouse, posting a .419 batting average with 24 RBIs. Right behind her, Madison Carr (Texas City HS/Texas City) holds a .416 batting average, while Madelyn Perez (London HS/Corpus Christi) has been equally impactful, hitting .403 with 21 RBIs and 11 stolen bases.

We are growing as a team every day, and our mindset has shifted towards a belief in our potential for success. The hard work we've put in is beginning to pay off, and we are ready to embrace the challenges ahead. As conference play begins, we are determined to make our mark and build momentum for the rest of the season.
